“Off the shelf” eCommerce Websites – OsCommerce

We find the most flexible and easiest software to use is OsCommerce. Our basic Oscommerce package includes the following. For other functionality and requirements please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be happy to provide you with a seperate quote.

Professional design based on your logo, company colour and other specifications. Within reason we will provide unlimited revisions and changes.

HTML conversion of the design.

Integration of the design seamlessly to OsCommerce.

Basic Store

1. Development Platform and Compatibility

3. Brand Management

  • Ability to Add/Edit/Delete different Brands that your products fall under, and upload an image/logo for this brand

 

4. Category Management

  • Ability to Add/Edit/Delete main product categories and upload an image for each particular category


5. Range/Sub Category Management

  • Ability to Add/Edit/Delete a Range/Sub Category which falls within a main category within a brand (optional) and upload an image for each particular sub category

6. Product Management

  • Ability to Add/Edit/Delete products and set:   
    • Product Name
    • Product Code
    • Short Description
    • Full Description
    • Product Price
    • Upload image
    • Display the product as active or inactive

8. Order Management

  • During all the stages Auto Responders are sent out which allow the customer to know their order status.
  • They will also have an order reference generated by the website for them to quote on correspondence.
  • By default, after successful payment, user gets an email with order details [bcc to admin] and when admin changes the status of the order, then user will get a status change email.
  • Clients can also log into their My Account to see their order status and track the consignment.
  • Clients can also log to check previous Order History

 

9. Order Reports

  • Ability for all orders to go through an Order Management system          
    • Order placed and Recorded in ‘New Order’ Section.  Non Paid orders are automatically/manually placed in Cancelled Orders
    • Once Order is being processed, they are moved to ‘Processing Order’ Stage
    • Once an Order is shipped/dispatched they are moved to ‘Closed Order’ Section
    • ‘Cancelled Order’ Section – for orders that have been cancelled
    • Non-Paid Order section for follow up/action


10. User Management

  • All users that submit their details on the website though placing an order will be stored.
  • Unsubscribe option on page for both users from the site and newsletters as above to unsubscribe and automatically update the database.
  • Users will be prompted at each stage to tick a box that will add them onto the website database (newsletter subscriptions and contact us forms)
  • User details will all be stored here in different sections (i,e; customers with accounts, customers subscribed to newsletters, customers subscribed through contact us etc.
  • Cookies will be used to track returning visitors

 

11. Content Management Pages

  • Ability to Add/Edit and Delete Text on all Static Pages within the website 

 

12. Main Settings

  • As deliveries are dispatched to different addresses sometimes, at “Processing Order” stage, admin can print of any delivery sheet/pick sheet.  This will contain the order details without price as well as the Delivery Address.

14. User Management
